Art: Landscape and Composition
In this art lesson, the focus was on the composition of a landscape. Chey didn’t really pick up on the term composition when it was used in the video, and so later, when I was asking them about it, she was all, “What’s composition mean?” After I started attempting to explain (in my not-art-educated way), Chris jumped in and said oh, yes, she talked about this and this and this, all of which Chey remembered. She just hadn’t tied the described techniques to their name.
I really liked Chris’ landscape before it was painted, and so I got him to wait and let me take some pictures before he moved on. I think I still prefer before painting rather than after, what about you?
Chey was already painting hers by the time I was available for pics, as I missed the majority of their working time.
As a result, I don’t have a lot of in-progress pictures, but I do have a few really cool closeups…
