Art: The Night Before Christmas
In this Atelier art lesson, the kids were to listen and/or read The Night Before Christmas, choose a line from the poem, and then draw just THAT scene.
They were supposed to all chose different scenes. Needless to say, that didn’t happen, but they did come up with some interesting artwork.
I wasn’t able to get in-progress images of the completely-drawn-but-not-yet-painted pictures, and I have to admit, again, that I preferred the one I did see without the paint over the final painted version.
My niece was visiting – that’s why there are three, not just two.
